The trail begins at Jardim das Laranjeiras, in São Mamede de Ribatua, in the municipality of Alijó.

Access is via the village of São Mamede de Ribatua, after crossing the Roman bridge. Next to Jardim das Laranjeiras you will find free parking and the start of the trail.

- By carFrom Alijó (~8 km) or Pinhão (~15 km), follow the signs to São Mamede de Ribatua. Access is also possible via the A4/IP4 and EN212.
- ParkingFree car park next to Jardim das Laranjeiras. Alternative parking is available at the Tua reservoir landing stage.
- Public transportBus connections to Alijó and the Douro region. The nearest railway station is Pinhão (Douro Line).
- Useful informationBring water and suitable footwear. The trail has no support facilities. Respect the signage and nature.
